By Press TV Website Staff Earlier this week, marauding Israeli occupation soldiers killed siblings, Masa Muhammad Eid and Shaʿban Muhammad Eid, in central Gaza. Their cold-blooded murder came amid the so-called ceasefire that has been violated by the regime nearly 150 times in three weeks. Like children elsewhere in the world, Masa and Sha’ban brimmed with joy and curiosity, despite the hell that the regime has wreaked in the besieged Gaza Strip since October 2023. Nearly 70,000 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza — nearly half of them children, like Masa and Sha’ban. The besieged territory, often described as the…
Healthcare Workers 4 Palestine – South Africa (HCW4P-SA) is aware of the provisional finding and subsequent fine on Dr Tlaleng Mofokeng, for her social media posts, made by the Health Professionals Council South Africa (HPCSA) in response to a complaint from the South African Zionist Federation (SAZF). We welcome the news that there will be an appeal to this finding, and we trust that the HPCSA will follow due process in responding to this appeal. While we respect the work of the HPCSA, the limited transparency with respect to the provisional finding is cause for concern amongst healthcare workers. We…
Every Dictatorship has one Obsession — control. By Sõzarn Barday Control of bodies, of land, of imagination, and above all, of truth. The methods differ across centuries, but the intent remains the same: to suppress awareness and divert attention from injustice. In ancient Rome, emperors understood this well. As the empire rotted from within, they fed the population panem et circenses — bread and circuses — to keep citizens content and distracted. Gladiatorial games and grain distributions dulled the hunger for justice. People grew accustomed to spectacle, numbed to oppression, entertained into silence. History may never repeat itself perfectly, but it often…
Gaza Tribunal By Gaza Tribunal Source: Gaza Tribunal We, the undersigned members of the Jury of Conscience, hereby deliver this Statement of Findings and Moral Judgment at the final session of the Gaza Tribunal. The Jury, guided by conscience and informed by international law, does not speak with the authority of states, but when law is silenced by power, conscience must become the final tribunal. The Tribunal is not a court of law so does not purport to determine guilt or liability of any person, organization or state. It is a civil society response to the continuing lack of accountability for the commission by Israel of…
The Palestinian Solidarity Alliance (PSA) Statement on the HPCSA’s Actions Against Dr. Tlaleng Mofokeng
The Palestinian Solidarity Alliance (PSA) strongly condemns the unfair and unlawful actions of the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) against Dr. Tlaleng Mofokeng. We are deeply concerned that this matter constitutes an ultra vires action, as the HPCSA holds no legal authority or mandate to regulate the personal or political expressions of its individual members. It is therefore clear that this decision is politically motivated and represents a violation of Dr. Mofokeng’s fundamental freedoms. Moreover, it amounts to an act of defamation that must be challenged and rejected. It is alarming that certain elements within the HPCSA appear to be…
Palestinians inspect the heavily damaged buildings, some of which have been completely destroyed, and collect usable items after Israeli attack on central Gaza, violating the ceasefire, in Gaza City, Gaza on October 29, 2025. [Hamza Z. H. Qraiqea – Anadolu Agency] A classified report by a US government watchdog has revealed “many hundreds” of potential human rights violations committed by Israel in Gaza. The report was completed just a few days before the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas. According to The Washington Post, two US officials said that the “findings would take the State Department multiple years to review.” The findings by the State Department’s…
UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan (L) and Sudan’s RSF chief Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo. (Design: Palestine Chronicle) By Robert Inlakesh While the United Arab Emirates advertises itself as both a peacemaker and opponent of so-called “Islamic radicalism”, it is currently involved in genocide in both Gaza and Sudan. Connecting these dots is key to understanding the overarching goals of the regime. The United Arab Emirates has created its image in the world as an innovator, a builder, and a peacemaker, a carefully calibrated illusion as artificial as the buildings that mesmerize onlookers in Dubai. But behind the architecture and lavish…

In North Darfur, Sudan, the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) have advanced into the city of El Fasher after more than 500 days of siege. Text has been lightly edited for clarity. Dr. Javid Abdelmoneim, MSF international president: “What’s happening right now in El Fasher, in Sudan, is horrific, as…
Gaza destroyed and hundreds of thousands of Palestinians murdered or maimed By Zafar Bangash If the indicted war criminal Benjamin Mileikowsky (aka Netanyahu) does not kill 50 to 100 Palestinians each day, he cannot digest his food. This is what happened on the night of October 28/29. At least 104 Palestinians, among them 46 children were murdered in cold blood when Netanyahu ordered air strikes on Gaza. What was Netanyahu’s reason for this latest outrage? He ordered “powerful” strikes following an exchange of gunfire with what Israel alleged was Hamas fighters in Rafah (southern Gaza). The Israeli occupation amry later said an…
Beyond the ‘Unbreakable Bond’: Is the US reclaiming the wheel from a self-destructive Israel?
U.S. President Donald Trump speaks with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the Knesset, Israel’s parliament, on October 13, 2025 in Jerusalem. [Photo by Evelyn Hockstein – Pool/Getty Images] by Dr Ramzy Baroud RamzyBaroud Has Donald Trump’s sharp rebuke of Israel in his 23 October Time Magazine interview fundamentally changed the calculus in the Middle East? His comments immediately sparked two opposing views: for some, his position represents the clear demarcation of a genuine shift in US foreign policy; for others, it is nothing more than a political ploy designed to claw back credibility lost by the US during two years of Israeli…
