As we celebrate Eid-ul-Adha, a time of sacrifice, compassion, and unity, our hearts remain heavy with the suffering of our brothers and sisters in Gaza. The spirit of this sacred occasion calls us to remember those enduring oppression, displacement, and unimaginable loss. The genocide in Gaza is a stark reminder of the injustices we must confront with courage and unwavering faith.
Prophet Ibrahim (AS) demonstrated ultimate submission to Allah’s will, teaching us that true sacrifice means standing for justice, even in the face of immense hardship. Today, our sacrifice must extend beyond ritual—it demands action. Let us use our voices, resources, and prayers to support Gaza, advocate for their rights, and demand an end to their suffering.
Let us speak out and enable meaningful action against the tyrants in the ummah, be it, the Bin Shaytaan regime currently occupying Islam’s holiest sites, or the Bin Zayed Zionist normalisers in the Emirates or the modern-day Firaun in Egypt, amongst others, who can do nothing to lessen the suffering of our brothers and sisters in Gaza but instead choose to tacitly enable the genocide.
This Eid, as we rejoice with family, let us also remember those who have no homes, no feasts, and no loved ones left. May our celebrations be tempered with empathy, our festivities infused with prayers for peace, and our happiness shared with those in despair.
May Allah ease the pain of the oppressed, grant them victory, and unite the Ummah in justice and mercy. Eid Mubarak—may it bring hope, healing, and freedom for Palestine.
