EXPOSED: Tony Blair’s “GITA” plan for Gaza is a Continuation of British Treachery against Palestinians

From Balfour to Blair, British treachery has once again raised its ugly head to dispossess and disempower Palestinians by stripping them of agency, honour, dignity and freedom.

Shocking details have emerged of colonial-era treason against the besieged Palestinian population of Gaza, who are enduring close to two years of devastating cruelty at the hands of the occupying Zionist regime’s genocide.

Known as GITA, the devious plot devised by former British Premier Tony Blair stands for the establishment of the “Gaza International Transitional Authority”.

Leaked and authenticated by Times of Israel (TOI), it confirms that US President Donald Trump gave his approval of Blair’s GITA plan as recently as a few weeks ago on August 27 at a White House policy session.

Not surprising that the August 27 meeting was organised by Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner, who we recall was the US president’s key point-man during his first term, as the architect of the “Abraham Accords”.

Kushner has apparently remained deeply entrenched in the “Palestine File”, having  commissioned the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change (TBI), which according to the TOI report was already engaged on the issue “thanks to the former UK prime minister’s ties with Israeli, PA and Arab leaders — to come up with a postwar plan…”.

What’s in the plan reflects and embodies a colonial-era mindset to deceptively legalise Israeli occupation of a defanged and demilitarised Gaza Strip.

Using US power and Arab complicity, Blair hopes to obtain a UN Security Council resolution to formally establish GITA.

GITA will serve as the “supreme political and legal authority for Gaza during the transitional period,” the developed draft of the plan obtained by TOI states.

It goes on to reveal that GITA will have a board made up of seven to 10 members, which will include “at least one qualified Palestinian representative (potentially from the business or security sector),” a senior UN official, leading international figures with executive or financial experience, and a “strong representation of Muslim members” to boost regional legitimacy and cultural credibility.

It further discloses that the board will be tasked with “issu[ing] binding decisions, approv[ing] legislation and appointments and provid[ing] strategic direction,” while reporting back to the UN Security Council.

The chair of the board will be “appointed by international consensus and receive the endorsement of the UN Security Council. The chair will lead GITA’s external engagement and diplomacy and set the political direction of the body while closely coordinating with the PA”, the document says.

The GITA board chair will have a supporting staff of up to 25 people who will serve on the “strategic secretariat.”

The plan also envisions the creation of an Executive Protection Unit “staffed by elite personnel from Arab and international contributors” to protect the GITA leadership.

An “Executive Secretariat” will sit below GITA and serve as the latter’s administrative hub and implementation arm, while directly overseeing the Palestinian Executive Authority (PEA).

“The latter body is what has often been referred to as the committee of independent Palestinian technocrats who will be responsible for administering Gaza”, reveals TOI report.

In classic colonial style regime-change apparatus, reporting to GITA will be the Palestinian Executive Authority headed by a CEO formally appointed by the GITA board.

To confirm external imposition by decree – reminiscent of the Balfour Declaration of 1917 – look no further than the language used to describe the elimination of Palestinian agency.

Undoubtedly the Blair plot is designed to obstruct and prevent Hamas from exercising the legitimacy it obtained during the 2006 elections in which it garnered overwhelming popular support to be the vanguard of Palestinians and their freedom struggle.

TOI report confirms that GITA’s goal is to disarm Hamas and render it “unable to regain power”.

Can Blair be trusted to be an impartial mediator or in this case wearing the hat of a “colonial governor”?

Certainly not given his bloody history of war crimes committed alongside US president George W Bush in the post-9/11 era.

And of course his strong pro-Zionist leanings while serving in the Quartet failed to provide any semblance of justice for Palestine.

From acting as a poodle for Bush, he has adopted the same role of subservience to Trump and the Zionist establishment which reigns from Tel Aviv to Washington and London.
